February 25 Shopping Spree to provide hunger relief, now in it's 18th year!

Join us at the Batavia Jewel-Osco on Randall Rd, Monday, February 25th, at 10:30am to watch this year's competitors, 33rd District State Senator Donald DeWitte and 70th District State Representative Jeff Keicher, race to collect groceries for their respective food pantries. Their chosen food pantries include Tri-Cities Salvation Army Food Pantry and Hinckley Area Food Pantry.

Come a little early and we'll be hosting a Milk "Toast" to bring awareness to our 10,000 Gallon CHALLENGE. Those present will receive a milk chug to "toast" to donations collected for the campaign.

Private Well Testing in Februay

The KCFB and Kane/DuPage Soil & Water Conservation District are cooperating again to offer a water testing program in 2019.

Step 1 - Tuesday, February 19 thru Friday, March 1: pick up water test kits, payment due upon pick up.
Step 2 - Sunday, March 3: collect water sample
Step 3 - Monday, March 4: return water sample to Farm Bureau or Kane/DuPage Soil & Water Conservation District.

A. Basic Package (Nitrate Package) - $45.00
B. Pesticide Screen - $80.00
C. Metals - $90.00

*Results are mailed directly to your home.

Feb farm toy

Farm Toy of the Month @ KCFB's Country Store

Our February toy of the month is blue!

This New Holland T9.700 tractor farm toy represents a 620 horsepower, 154" wheel-base length, 480 gallon fuel capacity, and 44,046 lbs in weight beast of a tractor.

It is a 1/64 (approx. 5" long x 3" wide) die-cast metal replica full of power and fun for anyone over the age of 3.

Regular price is $16.99, but Farm Bureau members will receive a 20% discount if they bring us an empty, clean milk jug for our 10,000 Gallon CHALLENG and in turn, take a prepared one to a local business of their choice.
